It will submit your website to the most important search engines. But if you’re not sure if your website will get indexed by those methods, do it manually.

You might have read that NOT submitting your website to search engines might increase your page rank when the search engine crawls your in and outcoming links, and submits your website itself. I must apologise because I really don’t know if that’s true, but for now I would say, just submit your website to that list. Because in my opinion every big webmaster has submitted his websites to the search engines.
